Guiding according to visitors’ wishes.

In the Slovenian Alpine Museum, we adapt professional guided tours of the exhibition to the characteristics and requirements of visitors. Visits by larger groups or requests for guided tours must be announced in advance.

For scheduled groups, the museum is open outside regular opening hours with prior notice (at least three working days before arrival).

Groups wishing to have a guided tour are kindly requested to inform us at least three working days before arrival. For more information, you can call us at (08) 380 67 30 or write to us.

To make exploring the museum a richer experience for individual visitors, we offer an audioguide that you can listen to for free on your smartphone via the website izi.TRAVEL.

Opening Hours

Summer Opening Hours (1 May – 31 October)

Every day: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Peak Summer Season (1 July – 31 August)

Every day: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Winter Opening Hours (2 November – 30 April)

Tuesday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Monday: Closed

 

Last entry to the exhibition: one hour before closing.
Closed: 1st January and 1st November.
Open outside regular hours for pre-booked groups (at least 3 working days in advance).

The paved parking lot at the Slovenian Alpine Museum is free for museum visitors who purchase an entrance ticket. Otherwise, parking fees must be paid through the Easy Park app or at the museum reception. For more information, please contact the museum staff.

Parking subscriptions do not apply at this parking lot.
