Information for museum visitors
In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health Slovenian alpine museum is following the recommended measures: the museum remains open to individual visitors and small groups (up to 25 people), all planed events and exhibition openings are canceled until further instructions. Thank you for your understanding.
The world of Slovenian mountain caves
Explore the wondrous world of Slovenian mountain caves: learn about the history of exploration, the numerous cave creatures and the future of caves in a changing world. The exhibition is part of the celebration of 130 years of organised speleology in Slovenia.
Magical nature: photographic exhibition
The exhibition, which can be seen until March 30th, showcases the best entries to an international photographic competition which aimed to show and promote unknown wonders and beauty of the Nature, its stunning diversity, in order to be better understand and appreciate life as a whole.
Courage is feminine – virtual tour.
The exhibition, dedicated to the most successful female climbers of the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia, members of the first female expeditions from the 1980s, exceptional female teams, and individuals, can now be viewed virtually. Check the exhebition
