Visit the Slovenian Alpine Museum and attend the Live Nativity in Ice performances

VISIT THE SLOVENIAN ALPINE MUSEUM AND ATTEND THE LIVE NATIVITY IN ICE PERFORMANCES 🩵

In the last days of December, we warmly invite you to visit our museum, open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Explore our permanent and temporary exhibitions and enjoy the festive Advent atmosphere of the Alpine Advent Market. 🎁

When the museum closes at 4:00 PM, the experience continues outdoors. From December 25 to 30, 2025, you are invited to the Live Nativity in Ice performances, which will create a special holiday atmosphere in the evenings. If temperatures allow, you will also be able to visit the Ice Kingdom, enchanting visitors each year with its winter fairytale charm.

The museum will be open on the following adjusted schedule:

❄ December 24, 2025: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
❄ December 25, 2025: CLOSED
❄ December 31, 2025: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
❄ January 1, 2026: CLOSED

For pre-announced groups, the museum can also be opened outside regular opening hours. Please notify us of your arrival at matjaz.podlipnik@gmj.si.
