The exhibition \u201cAlja\u017e Tower \u2013 Symbol or Trophy\u201d<\/strong> explores the historical, cultural, and symbolic significance of the Alja\u017e Tower and its transformation over time \u2013 from Jakob Alja\u017e\u2019s patriotic gesture of resistance to a contemporary symbol of national identity. It offers insight into the many ways individuals and communities have experienced Triglav and its tower over the decades \u2013 as a destination, a stage, a symbol of defiance, and a backdrop for personal and collective stories. Through rich visual material, object narratives, and numerous anecdotes, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect: Do we still perceive the Alja\u017e Tower as a symbol of community \u2013 or as a personal trophy?<\/em><\/p>\n

At the Slovenian Alpine Museum<\/strong>, we are opening this immersive exhibition to mark the anniversary \u2013 an experience shaped by sound, mist, and stories that will surely captivate you.<\/p>\n
